Balanced Dental

I reached out to two offices in Stuart, Fl that accepted my insurance and Balanced dental was the one to answer and get me in for an initial assessment. I have never had a dentist or dental office work so diligently in creating a treatment plan for me while including my own cosmetic goals. Dr. Jackson is the most gentle dentist I’ve had in my life. He explains what he’s doing while completing dental work. He explains your treatment plan in great detail in language that you can understand. I cannot give enough credit to his hygienists, assistants and office staff. 10/10 service. Highly recommend.

We have been using Dr. Jackson since we moved to Jensen eight years ago as our family dentist. He is one of the few holistic dentists in the area and recommend him to anyone who asks. He is easy-going and gentle everything you could want in a comfortable dentist visit. Highly recommend.

Great dentist office, Dr. Jackson is wonderful. Quick and is always painless. Comfortable environment and all the staff and assistants are always really kind. Fluoride free office and they are very on top of things. Appointments, insurance, etc. Highly recommend.

They are the masters at up coding! On multiple occasions they added services codes for a deep cleaning when I asked them (very clearly) to just perform a standard cleaning that is covered by my insurance. Of course I received bills for these extra services after they were performed. This along with a very non-personal attitude by the dentist made me change to a different provider. This crookedness needs to be looked into by the Florida Board of Dentistry!

Can’t say enough good about Dr. Jackson and his team! I’ve worked with them for over a year now and they are everything I’ve looked for in a dentist’s office. Affordable, punctual, flexible, and modern, they always strike the right balance between intervention and prevention. I’ve never felt pushed or upsold into anything, and I can relax knowing that they truly have my best interests at heart. I’m relieved to have found Balanced Dental and would definitely recommend them to anyone!

Dr. Jackson is other worldly. When another natural dentist was demanding unnecessary procedures that felt wrong to my core, his team got me in without notice for an emergency second opinion. Everything my gut was telling me was right. The baby tooth was infected and needed to be pulled. And the laughing gas the first dentist mandated was inappropriate, an unjustified risk.My son was nervous upon arriving but within moments, he was made to feel safe and cozy. He felt no pain whatsoever. He had an extraction and filling for about half the price of the other natural dentist. I couldn’t be happier. I’mMoving our whole family to this practice and phasing out of our local dentist asap.

Dr. Jackson and his staff are wonderful! Everyone is very friendly and I have never had to wait to be seen. Dr. Jackson is gentle, informative and kind. I highly recommend this dental practice!

Dr. Jackson is the best dentist I’ve ever been to. His staff is unbelievably friendly and he is very gentle in all procedures. He never tries to upsell you and does his best to be conservative in treatments. He listens to my concerns and answers questions fully.When I had an old crown from a different dentist fall off he got me in to fix it right away before I left for an overseas trip.I have also done the clear aligners with his office and And now I feel so much more confident with my smile

Dr. Jackson is the only dentist I trust! He is extremely patient, knowledgeable and runs his practice with integrity, which is hard to find today. We love his integrative approach to dentistry, and all of his staff are all top notch. 10/10 recommend!

My kids and I had such a wonderful experience at this office. The staff was friendly and helpful. My kids, who are normally afraid of going to the dentist, were comfortable and relaxed at this office. Dr. Jackson was thorough in his evaluations, but also extremely honest about the kind of treatment that was needed. I was comfortable trusting his judgement for myself and my kids. We have been looking for the perfect dental practice for our whole family. From the moment we entered the office we were greeted by kind and caring staff. Today was our son’s first dental cleaning, age 4, and it was everything we hoped for. Dr. Jackson was so gentle and calm and Shauna spent a lot of time explaining the tools that she was using and making sure he was comfortable the entire cleaning. He is not afraid of going to the dentist now and that is how it is supposed to be. I highly recommend Balanced Dental.

Let me start with the fact I never review anything let alone type up a review. But after my experience with Balanced Dental and Dr. Jackson and his staff I just had to write this review. Ive lived in Martin County for almost 20 years and been to several other dentist offices and could have a complaint about all the previous offices. I get extreme dental anxiety just walking in the door, not this place. I felt welcome and valued. The staff are extremely professional and personable. Their work has been perfect and have shown they are knowledgeable in their profession. I am thankful to have found this dentist and will definitely be getting my cleanings, exams, dental work etc. from Dr. Jackson in the future. Cant reccomend this place enough.

The front desk staff and assistant were pleasant and knowledgeable. I was seen promptly, my cleaning was thorough, and Dr Jackson explained everything well. I have been going to Dr. Jackson for several years and let me tell you he’s the BEST. I have always had a huge fear in the dentist office, and I will tell you that fear is gone after finding his amazing practice. We moved to North Florida a few years ago and I still drive back for my dental needs.

I took my son here today on referral from our Orthodontist, Dr.Powers, and Dr. Jackson is fabulous! His staff was amazing, welcoming, warm, and informative, and their office is EXTREMELY clean! My son had extreme apprehension about going to a new dentist, he walked out after his visit like he had gone to heaven and back! I cannot say enough about this office, as a whole, this team is amazing! Thankful that my family has a new dentist office!!

When we moved here from out of state I was dreading looking for a dentist because we had many terrible experiences. I loved that Balanced Dental has an integrative approach to dentistry; there wasnt a thousand questions about if Im giving my children fluoride or not, and they respect me as a decision making advocate for my children. They have been very patient with my son who has a very sensitive gag reflex and has had traumatizing dental experiences. Not to mention, I can honestly say that the cleanings are top notch! I am confident in Balanced Dental and recommend my friends to see Dr. Jackson and staff.

I decided on this office based on the largely positive reviews, and I felt the need to leave a review because my experience has not aligned with these reviews.Their office staff is very nice, and they were able to schedule me fairly quickly and it was quite affordable as a self pay patient.However, I felt rushed in every visit but my first visit. My first visit was an exam, second visit was 2 fillings, and the third was a cleaning. On the second visit he completed two fillings in 45 minutes and then gave me a hard time when I tried to tell him the filling didn’t feel right- there was filling material like sand in between my teeth from the filling breaking. I had to insist that it be adjusted and repolished. My third visit was a cleaning. I was brought back at about 8:05, Dr. Jackson did the cleaning himself, not sure why. I walked out of there at 8:27. I’m not sure about everyone else, but I’ve never had a 20 minute cleaning in my life. It’s also been 3 years since my last cleaning so it’s not like my teeth were clean per se. Also, if you enjoy a dentist who walks through what they are doing so you understand what’s going on- he’s definitely not your guy based on our interaction. Bottom line- I don’t trust him. I’ve already had to have a repair to a tooth he filled, and while no one can determine that it is anyones fault- I strongly believe if Dr. Jackson were more thorough and not so rushed, It wouldn’t have happened.

I came in to get a crown replaced and had an all around pleasant experience. Dr. Jackson and his dental assistant Jackie are both very professional, attentive, and skilled. I felt no pain and Dr. Jackson used minimal anesthesia, after the procedure I barely felt numb. People always complain about having to go to the dentist but with Dr. Jackson I really feel like it’s no big deal.

Dr Jackson and all the staff make you feel so comfortable and will do their best to help with costs/scheduling issues. They helped me in so many ways other dentist wouldn’t begin to care enough to. Very grateful for everyone here.

I have extreme anxiety when it comes to going to the dentist, so much that I avoided going for many years. But I highly recommend Dr. Jackson. He and everyone at the office has been super friendly, nice, and makes me feel more at ease with the procedures that I’ve had done so far. Happy to have found this office!

Dr. Jackson and his team are top notch! As soon as I walked in I was greeted with smiling faces and attentive demeanors. The brand new, beautifully decorated facility is gorgeous and it was actually a pleasure sitting in the waiting room (for only 5 minutes btw). Alyssa (Dr. Jacksons assistant) is very kind and professional. Dr. Jackson made me feel comfortable and I definitely trust his judgment (not to mention that he is easy on the eyes :D). He and his staff exhibit the utmost knowledge and respect and have all of the most modern technology and devices. I have experienced an array of dental offices in my lifetime and I feel confident in saying that Dr. Jackson and his staff are the BEST!

Dr. Jackson has restored my faith in dentists! Having sensitive gums, I have dealt with some bad dentists in the past. And with that came heightened anxiety before visits. Dr. Jackson and his team introduced me to a new comfort level. I had a good amount of work that needed to be done, and they really took the time to get to know me and address the concerns of my oral history on a personal level. I only wish I had found him sooner! I certainly would have saved time and money.

I am posting my review because I chose this office based on all the great reviews and man, where they right! From the second that I called I was pleased with how kind the staff was. I went in today to have a broken crown repaired and was extremely satisfied with the office . It was super clean, almost had a “home like” feel, the staff was AMAZINGLY kind and the doctor was great. I finally have found a place where I am not nervous (because let’s face it, nobody enjoys having to go to the dentist). If there were more stars I would indeed give them - this office is superior!!!

I brought my 6 year old son in to see Dr. Jackson as it looked like he had a cavity. Dr. Jackson & his staff were AMAZING! My son didn’t even realize what all was happening in getting his cavity taken care of because Dr. Jackson kept him preoccupied & distracted! Hoping for no more cavities BUT will definitely be bringing family back here! Everything was done in a very timely manner too!! I highly recommend Dr. Jackson & his staff!

Great overall visit, the staff is very polite and friendly, very clean place, everything is very organized and efficient, Dr. Jackson is very knowledgeable, gentle and comforting since dental work can be nerve racking to some. Yesterday, my wife was in for her first time. She was well greeted by Erica at the front desk. Jackie took good care of her while she got xrays. Dr Jackson was once again a Great Dentist. He review her xrays her also kindly examined her mouth. Found three small cavities. My wife decided to go ahead and have them filled. The process was quick and painless.Once again, Balance Dental, Dr Jackson and staff did a Outstanding job. Thank you.

Mom is on a fixed income as is most seniors these days and has limited funds. She no longer has denture benefits through her ins. As a result we were referred to Dr. Warrens office, for her initial exam. Following the appt., we were advised she would need to pay for addl services and treatment. Quite exhausted after a day of making calls and trying to find a provider who would accept her ins. benefits, Dr. Warrens office mgr. referred us to you. Erika welcomed us with a smile, although we had no appt. She offered complimentary drinks, while she checked Moms benefits and even had us proceed to complete the paperwork, to expedite the process. She was very knowledgeable about my Moms ins. plan and was so pleasant, and kind through out the entire process. I inquired if perhaps she was the owner of the practice, as she showed such keen interest in my Mom, the patient. The follow-up appt. was provided the same day of the call. Dr. Jackson, its not often that one is met with such kindness and courtesy, as both are becoming quite rare in our society. This young lady is truly an asset to your practice. Later, I met other members of your staff, Carol and Emily, who were equally impressive, as well as yourself. Thank you for the time you took with me. I look forward to signing on as a patient, as well as my husband. I also will refer my friends to your practice. Again, thank you for allowing me to share my experience.

Found this dentist on the internet because I needed a tooth repaired. After reading the reviews I decided to give him a shot. I must say I have not regretted that decision for an instant. Everyone in the office is absolutely wonderful. The dentist was almost painless. I will not hesitate to come back to him on a regular basis.

I had a pleasant experience with Balanced Dental until I recd an addl invoice from them for extra services performed but not covered by my insurance provider. I was told Balanced Dental was in network for my insurance provider. My EOB showed services were performed for removal and replacement of resin for an old cavity. The dentist billed for addl work that was not covered by my insurance provider. The comment on the EOB stated You do not have to pay this amount. The charge for this service is considered to be part of another procedure done on the same day. When I brought this up to the admin at the office she insisted that the services we performed and they office needed to be paid even if the insurer refused to cover the extra services performed. I was never informed, or given the option to decline, of the extra work performed that would not be covered by the insurance carrier. If I had been made aware I would have declined the out of scope work. Because of these practices I do not trust and therefore cannot recommend the services of Balanced Dental.

Great experience at this practice! Truly focused on providing the best care. A breadth of fresh air...no pun intended. Oh yeah, the office is absolutely immaculate. Looking forward to my next appointment!

Perfect! Dr. Jackson and his staff are highly skilled, efficient, informative and personable. I never thought relaxing and dental appointment went together, but they made it happen.

They never confirmed our insurance and saw us for an entire year. Then sent us a non itemized bill for thousands of dollars. Literally just a paper with their letterhead and an amount due. Nothing that told us what we were paying for. When I called the girl at the front said she would look into it. Called me back with a new total of a few hundred dollars, again not telling me what we were paying for, and said that’s all we had to pay because it was part their fault and part my fault (even though it was all their fault). It’s been 2 years since then and they still send me non itemized bills in the mail. Ridiculously unprofessional circus they have going on over there
